Last year, at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and public sector workers, I mentioned that as a means of helping to ease the considerable burden for public sector workers, who are under a MOU for the fourth time, we at the PSOJ would develop a rewards programme. It is no secret that this group is facing significant challenges managing their day-to-day expenses in a climate where costs are increasing and the private sector, being mindful of the sacrifices made, wants to play a part in easing some of the burden.
