The Project Management Office (PMO) of the Institutional Strengthening of NCB for the Expansion of Small Business Financing intends to finance the assignment/services described below under a non-reimbursable grant from the Inter-American Development Bank/Multilateral Investment Fund (IDB/MIF).
The objective of the assignment is to facilitate, through coaching and training, the introduction of SMEs to Angel Investors and Venture Capitalists by the evaluation of business models, financing, and presentations. The consultant/firm shall deliver a framework that provides an opportunity for innovative SMEs seeking equity funding to deliver a pitch presentation to a panel of angels and/or venture capitalists at a series of Matching Events to be hosted by the Project in January 2015.
The PMO now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants shall provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Policies for the Selection and Contracting of Consultants financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN-2350-9 (March 2011).
